GULFSTREAM NAMES MARC HAVIS DIRECTOR OF TAX
SAVANNAH, Ga., October 21, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has named Marc Havis director, tax. He reports to Bill Skinner, vice president and corporate controller, Gulfstream.
Before joining Gulfstream, Havis was vice president of tax with the Polymer Group, an international manufacturing company.
He also served as tax director at Sonoco Products Co.
Havis earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, and a master's degree in international taxation from Regent University School of Law in Virginia.
He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants and the Tax Executives Institute.
