Gulfstream Also Renews Authorized Warranty Repair Facility Designations for Five Jet Aviation Locations
SAVANNAH , Ga. , Aug 9, 2006 – Gulfstream Aerospace has added the Dubai , United Arab Emirates , Jet Aviation maintenance center as a Gulfstream Authorized Warranty Repair Facility for large-cabin aircraft. The addition of the Dubai facility is a result of a new agreement signed recently by Gulfstream and Jet Aviation.
This agreement also renewed Gulfstream Authorized Warranty Repair Facility authorizations of five of Jet Aviation’s business-jet maintenance centers – Basel and Geneva, Switzerland; Hannover, Germany; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; and Singapore.
"We are working closely with Jet Aviation to ensure Gulfstream operators have high-quality technical support 24 hours-a-day, worldwide," said Larry Flynn, president, Product Support, Gulfstream. "The addition of Jet Aviation’s Dubai maintenance center provides customers in the Middle East with a convenient option for heavy maintenance, repair and warranty work on Gulfstream aircraft."
In addition to basic line maintenance, Gulfstream Authorized Warranty Repair Facilities also provide detailed maintenance services, including scheduled maintenance checks and inspections and perform maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft in fulfillment of Gulfstream’s manufacturer’s warranties.
Besides five Gulfstream-owned service centers and six General Dynamics Aviation Service Centers in the United States , Gulfstream operators also can have maintenance and warranty work performed at the Gulfstream Service Center in Luton , England.
