GULFSTREAM’S LONG BEACH FACILITY EARNS ISO 14001 REGISTRATION AND OHSAS 18001 CERTIFICATION
Business-Jet Manufacturer’s West Coast Facility Is Second Gulfstream Site to Adopt International Standards for Managing Risk
SAVANNAH , Ga. , March 17, 2006 – Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation’s Long Beach , Calif. , business-jet completions and product support site has received notice that it is now ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliant. ISO 14001 is earned by companies that are in compliance with international regulatory standards and demonstrate an established and uniform approach to managing their environmental policies and procedures. OHSAS 18001 is an Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems specification that improves on health and safety management systems designed to make the workplace safer.
Gulfstream’s Long Beach site is the second of the company’s five manufacturing and service sites to earn the ISO 14001 registration and the OHSAS 18001 certification. The company’s Savannah , Ga. , manufacturing facility achieved both in December 2004.

On Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 , an independent auditor accredited by the U.S.-based Registrar Accreditation Board granted Gulfstream’s Long Beach site both the ISO 14001 certification and the OHSAS 18001 certification.
