GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE PROMOTES DAN O’MALLEY TO VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER OF ITS MEXICALI, MEXICO, FACILITY
SAVANNAH, Ga., June 8, 2005 - Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary (NYSE: GD), has appointed Dan O’Malley as vice president and general manager of its Mexicali , Mexico , site. O’Malley has served the past five years as the general manager of the Mexicali facility, which provides avionic, assembly and fabrication work in support of the manufacture of Gulfstream business jet aircraft. Currently, Gulfstream’s Mexicali site employs more than 800 people.

O’Malley joined Gulfstream in 1999 as the senior manager of the composite manufacturing business unit in Savannah . Previously, he worked for Lucas Aerospace in Macon , Ga. , as a business unit manager for the Boeing 737 empennage program. He also held various positions during his 13 years with Hughes Electronics – working at both its El Segundo , Calif. , and LaGrange , Ga. , facilities.
O’Malley earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in systems management from the University of Southern California .
