GULFSTREAM APPOINTS JAMES "JIM" MCQUEENEY VICE PRESIDENT, MATERIAL

SAVANNAH, Ga., Jan. 06, 2004 - James McQueeney has been appointed vice president, material, Gulfstream Aerospace. In this position, he will manage the company's procurement supply chain and execute procurement development plans for Gulfstream's product line of eight business jets.
"Jim is an excellent choice for this important role," said Joe Lombardo, chief operating officer, Gulfstream. "His experience in production, procurement, plant management and program management gives him a unique perspective in material management, which I am confident will be of significant benefit to Gulfstream."
A 12-year employee, McQueeney served as director of production before serving as vice president and general manager of Gulfstream's Oklahoma City and Mexicali, Mexico, facilities. He also served as the manufacturing manager during the development of the Gulfstream V aircraft and worked at the company's Oklahoma City site for three years as the manager of business development.
Before joining Gulfstream, McQueeney was director of operations for Textron, a multi-product line company that produces business aircraft and helicopters. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University.
