GULFSTREAM AIRCRAFT SERVICE CENTERS EARN FAA DIAMOND CERTIFICATES OF EXCELLENCE
Savannah, GA., Dec. 13, 2001 - Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned division of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) is proud to announce that all five Gulfstream Service Centers have been awarded the prestigious Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Certificate of Excellence Award.
The service centers are located in Appleton, WI; Brunswick, GA; Dallas, TX; Long Beach, CA. and Savannah, GA. To qualify for the FAA's Diamond of Excellence Award, participants at the various service centers must take part in initial and recurrent training on an annual basis. No less than 25 percent of the staff at a service center must complete at least 100 hours of aircraft maintenance training to qualify.
